Comprehensive Rules & Regulations
1. STEAM Olympiad: Final Round
Allowed Categories: Primary, Junior, Secondary
- Use of calculators is strictly prohibited.
- Format consists of short questions and MCQs.
- Participants must bring necessary stationeries (pen, pencil, clipboard, etc.).
- The top 3 performers will be awarded crests and achievement certificates.
2. General Olympiads
Allowed Categories: Primary (General Science only), Junior (General Science, Astronomy & ICT only), Secondary, Senior
- Time limit: 20 minutes per olympiad.
- Use of calculators is strictly prohibited.
- Format consists of short questions and MCQs.
- Participants must bring necessary stationeries.
3. Project Display
Allowed Categories: Junior, Secondary, Senior
- Teams must consist of exactly 3 members. Members may be from different institutions.
- Categories: Mechanical and Non-mechanical.
- Acceptable Themes: Space, Astronomy, Science, Environmental Science, Scientific Business plan.
- Projects must be submitted on the first day of the event. Please arrive 1 hour early.
- Electricity will be provided, but participants must bring their own multi-plugs and laptops.
- Judging criteria: Aesthetics, explanation, and presentation.
4. Wall Magazine
Allowed Categories: Junior, Secondary, Senior
- Teams must consist of 3 members from any institution.
- Acceptable Themes: Space, Astronomy, Science, Environmental Science, Scientific Business plan.
- Maximum size limit: 8x8 feet. Shape and thickness are unrestricted.
- Any type of crafting materials may be used.
- Must be submitted on the first day. Judging criteria: Planning, beauty, and presentation.
5. Scrapbook Display
Allowed Categories: Junior, Secondary, Senior
- Teams must consist of 3 members from any institution.
- Maximum size limit: 8x8 feet.
- Any type of materials may be used.
- Must be submitted on the first day. Judging criteria: Planning, beauty, and presentation.
6. Instant Story Writing
Allowed Categories: Junior, Secondary, Senior
- Time limit: 1 hour.
- Topics must relate to science, space, astronomy, or a scientific business.
- Language: Exclusively Bengali OR exclusively English (mixing is prohibited).
- Maximum word count: 300 words.
- Judging criteria: Storyline, data accuracy, and proper grammar utilization.
7. Art Exhibition
Allowed Categories: Junior, Secondary, Senior
- Theme: Astronomy, Space, Technology & Science.
- No digital artworks permitted. Both sketch and colored art are accepted.
- Allowed canvas/paper sizes (inches): 8x8, 10x8, 12x8, 12x12, 20x12, 20x20.
- Participants may use any medium. Artworks must be signed by the creator.
- Stolen or copied artwork will result in immediate disqualification.
- Captions are mandatory (English or Bengali), written on the back or attached to the artwork alongside the Participant's Name and Institution.
- Authorities reserve the right to decline submissions containing inappropriate themes (nudity, violence, politics).
- No alterations allowed post-submission. Artworks must be submitted by the first day.
8. Art Competition
Allowed Categories: Pre-Primary, Primary, Junior
- Time limit: 1 hour.
- Theme: Open.
- Participants must bring their own art materials (colors, board, pencils, etc.). Both sketch and colored art are permitted.
9. Photography Exhibition
Allowed Categories: Open for all (Mobile & DSLR)
- Photos must be submitted before the event via a high-resolution downloadable drive link.
- Limit: 1 photo per participant.
- Stolen or copied photos will result in disqualification.
- Captions are mandatory (English or Bengali).
- All accepted submissions will be framed and displayed. Participants may collect their framed photos afterward.
10. Web Design & Development
Allowed Categories: Junior, Secondary, Senior
- Websites must be submitted on the first day.
- Copied or stolen designs will lead to disqualification.
- Judging criteria: Presentation, appearance, UI/UX, and information architecture.
11. Craftwork
Allowed Categories: Pre-Primary, Primary, Junior
- Theme: Open. No size restrictions.
- Must be submitted on the first day. Post-submission alterations or retractions are prohibited.
- Judging criteria: Appearance, presentation, and thematic relevance.
